Supporting The Armed Forces Community

Organisations may choose to sign a voluntary pledge to demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces community and the principles of the Covenant. All organisations – public, private or voluntary, and small, medium or large – are welcome to sign the Covenant.

The Stirling Highland Games President signed the Voluntary Pledge on June 6th 2022.

2019

Stirling Armed Forces Day

Stirling Highland Games supported the 2019 Armed Forces Day in Stirling by organising a tug o war event in the main arena at Kings Park.

Stirling Highland Games volunteers on the day were organised by Cat Cripps, committee member [2015 to 2022] and included SHG President Matt McGrandles [picture on right] organising the tug o war competition.

From this event, HRFCA personnel introduced our team to the AFC and was the catalyst to the future partnership now created between both organisations.
